GNTC Students Receive Scholarships From Chattanooga Technology Council Thursday, December 10, 2020 Lori Gallagher received a $1,000 scholarship from the Chattanooga Technology Council Two Georgia Northwestern Technical College students were among the 18 recipients of scholarships awarded by the Chattanooga Technology Council ranging from $1,000-$2,000. Cybersecurity majors Brittany Wattenbarger of Walker County received a $2,000 scholarship and Lori Gallagher of Bartow County received a $1,000 scholarship. ChaTech partnered with Volkswagen Chattanooga, Chattanooga’s DevOpsDays, the ChaTech CxO Auction and Sirius to award a total of $22,000 in scholarships. “Lori Gallagher and Brittany Wattenbarger are both excellent students with great communication skills,” said Dwight Watt, program director and instructor of CISCO and Computer Information Systems at GNTC. “Both are very appreciative of the scholarships they won.”
