Aaron Schreffler, a Goodwill parenting program participant, was named the 2020 Graduate of the Year. In 2019, Schreffler, who struggled with drugs from an early age, overdosed and lost custody of his children. He entered Goodwill's parenting program where he said he learned structure and how to be a responsible father. As a result of the program, Schreffler eventually regained custody of his children. "If it weren't for the program, I'd be overdosed and dead by now," he said. Rachel Wood was named the 2020 Achiever of the Year. After Wood suffered a traumatic brain injury as a result of a car accident, she said friends told her to attend Goodwill's work assessment program.
