Three Republican members of Congress are taking action to force a vote on the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, a bill that would require a baby born alive after an attempted abortion to receive the same level of medical care as a newborn. Now, three Republican House members are seeking to force a vote on the bill. The bill does not restrict abortion, but only requires medical professionals to provide a baby who survives an abortion with the same level of medical care as any other newborn child.
