NSW Government The grants program will provide $4.1 million towards health and safety improvements to NSW Crown reserves and help recover the economic impacts of COVID-19. The Crown Land Manager Recovery Support Program will boost investment into NSW’s public spaces with grants available from $5000 to $150,000. The grants will be considered for a range of projects including: upgrading hygiene facilities such as toilet blocks, soap dispensers and hand sanitiser stands purchasing equipment, signage and other resources to support COVID Safe events work, health and safety audits for reserves by qualified professionals. Crown reserves covers 42% of the state’s reserves and are used for a variety of community and recreation purposes. This includes public open spaces, parks, campgrounds, club halls, showgrounds and other community facilities.
