One of the winners is a 15-year-old from Grants Pass who said that she would have gotten the shot regardless of the potential reward. Brown announced the incentive campaign in May, outlining a series of rewards to be chosen at random from people who received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine — one adult winner of $1 million, thirty-six $10,000 winners drawn from each county, and five winners of a $100,000 Oregon College Savings Plan scholarship between the ages of 12 and 17.
