Jeremy Rockliff,Minister for Community Services and Development
All Tasmanians should be treated with dignity and respect – regardless of their relationship status, sexuality, gender identity or intersex characteristics.
Four organisations will receive funding through the Tasmanian Government’s 2021 Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex and Queer (LGBTIQ+) Grants Program, which helps LGBTIQ+ Tasmanians, their friends and families have equal opportunity to participate in and contribute to Tasmania’s social, economic and cultural life.
Total funding being allocated through the 2021 Grants Program is $46,850. The projects to receive funding are:
$25,000 for Working It Out Inc;
$4,810 for Hockey Tasmania;
$8,440 for Bushrangers Sporting; and
$8,600 for Clarence City Council.
