McKenya Dilworth My favorite teacher at Bishop Noll was my AP History teacher, Mr. Trafny. He was the kind of educator I am still aspiring to become because he facilitated our learning about history and taught us how to assert ourselves as scholars. He would push us to think about how to apply the lessons learned from history. That brings me to the core of what is on my mind: lessons learned from history. I would present the inverse of that and ask have, and how much have, we learned from history? There are a number of examples that we have not learned from historic world conflicts displaying the most horrific sides of our humanity â from genocide in Germany to the caste system in India.
