While this makes things quite intriguing, especially considering that we have waited for the electric carmaker's arrival in the country, the fact remains that this is just the R&D centre. Yep, the Tesla office in Bengaluru will serve as the company's R&D facility. But what about the factory then? Oh yeah, that's going to happen too. Interestingly, several media reports have emerged in the recent past, claiming the automaker is in discussions with plenty of Indian states for setting up its EV manufacturing facility in the country. However, the latest report in this regard says Gujarat is quickly emerging as the top choice for serving as home to the Tesla manufacturing facility in India.
