The event marked the second of its kind, bringing together leaders from multiple backgrounds for discussions on how to overcome some of society's most difficult problems: racial justice, police reform and building bridges between communities. The smell of hot, fresh coffee and breakfast foods filled the cafeteria of Millwood High School as laughter and conversation flowed from the tables. As the lights lowered and guests stilled, they were met with images from the Tulsa Race Massacre as "Greenwood Rising," detailed the work being done and still to be done in Tulsa.
