Hattiesburg plane crash: No distress call from pilot, NTSB report says

According to the report, on the night of May 4, a private Mitsubishi MU-2B-60 airplane departed the Wichita Falls Municipal Airport in Wichita Falls, Texas, bound for the Bobby L. Chain Municipal Airport in Hattiesburg.
The report states that once the plane arrived in Hattiesburg airspace, it began its initial approach, made a procedural turn, then flew part of its final approach before it crashed into a home on Anna Christie Drive at 11:05 p.m. Authorities received a report of the crash at around 11:20 p.m.
The pilot, Dr. Louis Provenza, 67, and two other people aboard the plane, Anna Calhoun, 23, and Harper Provenza, 2, were killed in the crash. Gerry Standley, 55, who lived at the home, was also killed.
