Virginia added 3,160 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday as the Lord Fairfax Health District added 155. The health district, which covers Winchester and the counties of Clarke, Frederick, Page, Shenandoah and Warren, also added three hospitalizations and one new death. The hospitalizations were recorded in Frederick, Shenandoah and Page, according to the Virginia Department of Healthâs online dashboard at vdh.virginia.gov/coronavirus. One new death was recorded in Frederick, which now has 23 deaths. Frederick added 50 new cases, Winchester 38, Page 29, Shenandoah 21, Warren 10 and Clarke seven. The Lord Fairfax Health District now has 8,290 cases, 482 hospitalizations and 165 deaths. Itâs had 64 outbreaks during the pandemic and 1,496 outbreak-associated cases, up 13 from on Monday. The district also has had 671 cases among health-care workers, up five from on Monday.
