If you're in the market for a mid-engine Corvette but the new C8 just doesn't do it for you, we may have a solution. A dealer in Georgia is selling what appears to be the very last Pratt & Miller-built Corvette Daytona prototype.
Daytona prototypes were top-level race cars built to compete in the Rolex Sports Car series starting in 2012 before being adapted to race in IMSA from 2013 to 2015. Though they're not directly related to any production Corvette, Chevrolet factory backing meant a Corvette fascia and branding. This one, according to the ad on Facebook Marketplace, was a spare for the Action Express team, and was never actually used in any in-period races. Being a 2015 model, it wears the later C7-era nose.
