Home workers face chaos as Microsoft Teams crashes worldwide


Microsoft Teams crash causes chaos for home workers worldwide
Panicked users responded to the latest in a series of issues for the video conferencing software

Microsoft Teams, the tech giant's video conferencing service used by 115 million people, suffered a mystery outage on Tuesday that caused chaos for home workers globally.
According to the platform Down Detector, which tracks when online services suffer outages, users started to report problems at around 10:40am BST.  
"We’ve confirmed that this issue affects users globally," said the official Microsoft Twitter account in response to reports. "We’re reviewing monitoring telemetry and recent changes to isolate the source of the issue."
