Leader of Fareham Borough Council Councillor Seán Woodward said: “The 150 homes proposed in the earlier draft plan for the Rookery Farm landfill site, with possible accesses onto Botley Road and Swanwick Lane, had been removed. "We are pleased to be able to report that in the latest draft Local Plan, the Council has removed the site along with sites for around 2,000 houses across the Borough.”
