WITH the easing of coronavirus restrictions, people are once again eating out at the city s cafes and restaurants.
In line with the governments roadmap, as of April 12, hospitality businesses have been able to open for outside service only.
But with so many places to choose from, it s not always easy to choose where you should go if you re feeling peckish.
This is why the Daily Echo has put together a list of the top ten cafes in and around Southampton.

Homes planned in Fareham are rejected

The public consultation ended on December 18 and is now under review by a Government inspector.
The plans will show how the borough will be developed over the next 16 years.
Major development for 188 new homes in Sarisbury have by thrown out by the borough’s planning committee.
Leader of Fareham Borough Council Councillor Seán Woodward said: “The 150 homes proposed in the earlier draft plan for the Rookery Farm landfill site, with possible accesses onto Botley Road and Swanwick Lane, had been removed.
We are pleased to be able to report that in the latest draft Local Plan, the Council has removed the site along with sites for around 2,000 houses across the Borough.” ....
