2 Min Read Published on: 02-22-2021 Since opening in December 2020, Texas Health Hospital Mansfield in Mansfield, Texas, United States, has been faced with many challenges: the COVID-19 pandemic, an unexpected surge of patients, and the historic winter storm. All of this has only made the hospital’s team stronger, according to the health-care institution’s leaders. They believe everyone has risen to the occasion without hesitation. From the start, the hospital personnel has teamed up to care for each other and their patients like family. When the snow came down, the hospital team stepped up. In response to the February 14-15, 2021, weather events, Texas Health Mansfield’s executive team converted sections of the Professional Office Building into warming stations and recharge zones for team members, their families, and even their pets. Additionally, an entire wing of the hospital has been devoted to clinical staff as sleeping quarters so they can continue to safely care for patients.
