By Wendy Wilde Iowa Covid Vaccination totals - Iowa Department of Public Health (Des Moines, IA) -- Covid vaccinations are now open to all adults in Iowa, over age 16. "All eligible Iowans can be vaccinated." Said Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds in her March 31 press conference. "Age 16 and up can receive the Pfizer vaccine. Age 18 and up can receive the Moderna and the J & J." Reynolds said. The trick is finding an open appointment. The Twitter account created by Iowa City web developer Brian Finley automates appointment information Hy-Vee, CVS, and Walgreens pharmacies across Iowa and sends out Tweets with the openings.
