THE biggest and brightest moon of 2021 so far will be visible over UK skies this week- and you might have to stay awake into the early hours of the morning to see it at its peak.
Here's everything you need to know about the pink supermoon- including the best time and places to see it in Lancashire.
What is the pink supermoon?
Despite its name, the moon won’t actually appear pink and is only named this after a northern Native American reference to an early-blooming wildflower, which starts to pop up in the US and Canada at the beginning of spring.
