By Brandy UPDATE as of 4/5/21: DMX's lawyer clarifies that it was a misstatement on Saturday evening about DMX being taken off of life support and breathing on his own. According to abcnews: The rapper's publicist, Matt Oliver, said Saturday evening that Simmons no longer needed to be on life support, only to later backtrack and say he believes he's still on life support. The rapper's family said in a statement Sunday evening that the Ruff Ryders To The Rescue Foundation is holding a prayer vigil outside White Plains Hospital -- where DMX is currently admitted and "facing serious health issues" -- Monday at 5 p.m. ET.
