tremendous decline in the american media now totally acceptable in many precincts to print or broadcast flat out falsehoods. not even to bother confirming anything. earlier this week my book "killing lincoln" was attacked falsely. the "the washington post" printed stuff that was outrageous. never bothering to call me. we will deal with the people who put out those falsehoods in our pinheads and patriots segment. the smears don't effect controversial guys like me all politicians and famous people are targets. any accusation becomes a front page headline and you wonder why good people don't run for office. negligent americans well understand the media is now in business to destroy, not to enlighten. in the big picture, what ellen barkin says, not important. as i said, she is entitled to hold any opinion about anything. but ms. barkin and headline news are not entitled to lie on worldwide television. they are not entitled to do that.
