>> my pleasure france. >> and i wart to start with the nfl saying there is more work to do with the player safety and it is our top priority. from where you stand professionally with the nfl, what has been done to make that safety a top priority? >> well, i've been a participant myself many years ago in football and followed the concussion problem for several decades and in my opinion i don't think football has been safer, in terms of the rules changes produced the equipment changes, the safer tackling techniques and the big emphasis on proper management of concussions when they do occur. >> and when you bring this up i have to say this because this is why this controversy is so heated. you have the 2014 nfl report on concussions from a.p. said nearly three in 10 ex players will develop alzheimer's and dementia and with that how can you say -- and again you, you
