Newcastle United’s home stadium will host two Saudi Arabia international friendlies in September.
St James’ Park will stage Saudi Arabia’s fixtures against Costa Rica on September 8 and South Korea on September 12.
Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) owns 80 per cent of Newcastle following their takeover of the Premier League side in October 2021. The governor of PIF, Yasir Al-Rumayyan, is also Newcastle’s chairman.
