A fisherman was stunned to find a metre-long tiger snake slithering around his feet while onboard his boat 11 kilometres out to sea. Angler Bob Thatcher, 79, was fishing on Lake Wellington in the East Gippsland region of Victoria when he spotted an unexpected stowaway hiding in the corner of his boat. 'I looked down and there's this tiger snake, sitting there I suppose about 30 centimeters from my feet,' he told 9News. A seasoned Victorian fisherman discovered the tiger snake hiding inside his boat in Victoria 'I stood there and watched it for the while and it was poking its tongue out.'
