(Aaron Rosenblatt/Daily Republic) Travis Air Force Base personnel transfer into US Space Force TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE — Ten members, including one women, of the U.S. Air Force became guardians in the country’s newest military branch, the U.S. Space Force, during a transfer ceremony Friday at the base. They will join the 2,400 service members already in the U.S. Space Force. That number will grow to 3,600 in the next few months.
