With heat indexes anticipated to reach 97-98 degrees over the weekend and as high as 104 on Monday, the city of San Antonio will be operating dozens of cooling centers during the holiday weekend. The centers will remain open next week, with regular business hours. There are a total of 56 centers located in various parts of San Antonio. The full list with each center’s hours can be found on the San Antonio Office of Emergency Management website.
