Snowpiercer renewed for fourth season at TNT Even as the third season is wrapping production, TNT has given an early fourth season renewal to Snowpiercer. The series stars Daveed Diggs, Jennifer Connelly, Alison Wright and Sean Bean. You can watch the Diggs and other members of the cast make the announcement in a video below… Snowpiercer is based on the 2013 film from Parasite director Bong Joon-ho as well as the French graphic novel series Le Transperceneige. The series takes place in a post-apocalypse future after the planet has been devastated and what is left of humanity is placed on a large train that never stops travelling around the world. It ultimately leads to class warfare and revolution as people further up the train are treated better than those toward the back.
