The flight was more than a decade and hundreds of millions of dollars in the making. People like Lorena Miller, of Truth or Consequences, knows just how long people have been waiting to see the launch. "They put it off a year, then it got put off a year, then it got put off again, and it got put off again. So people kind of became discouraged and figured, ‘Well, it's just a fly in the night, something or other.’ And I think their attitude is going to change now, because actually, things have happened,” she said.
