On February 10, 2006, "Pink Panther" came out in theaters. The film is centered around an inspector on a mission to stop a pink diamond thief.
The comedy-mystery included Steve Martin as Inspector Jacques Clouseau and Houston native Beyoncé as his love interest.
What makes this film so significant, is not only that Beyoncé played a role in the actual film, but her popular song "Check On It" was supposed to be on the movie's official soundtrack. The original music video from Beyoncé's "Check On It" included cinematic aspects of the "Pink Panther" film.
