This means employees and visitors must continue to wear masks inside of city and county buildings and maintain social distancing. Webb County will also be opening its community centers imminently. Emergency Management Coordinator Steve Landin said the majority of the people who typically frequent community centers — senior citizens — have already received at least their first dose of the vaccine. As long as visitors wear masks and practice social distancing, there is no need to keep community centers closed, he said.
