Apr 3, 2021 BRADENTON, Fla. — David Paul Masters, 64, a lifelong resident of Hancock, and a recent retiree in Bradenton, passed away due to complications of a stroke, on March 27, 2021, at Manatee Memorial Hospital. He was born in Hancock, on April 21, 1956, son of Jack and Lorraine Masters, both preceding him in death. He was a graduate of Hancock High School. Mr. Masters worked as a custodian/ bus driver for the Hancock Public School system for 32 years. He was a dedicated volunteer fireman for the Hancock Fire Department for 40 years, earning honors as Copper Country Firefighter of the year and the U.P. Firefighter of the year.
