Support of 23 UML lawmakers to NC President Deuba still intact: Senior leader Nepal My Republica KATHMANDU, July 12 -- The rival faction leader within the ruling CPN-UML Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the support of 23 UML lawmakers given earlier to Nepali Congress(NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba in his prime ministerial bid is still intact. Senior leader Nepal made the remarks while expressing serious dissatisfaction over the claims made by a section of leaders close to Prime Minister K P Oli that the writ petition filed earlier by NC President Deuba was now invalid with 23 UML lawmakers withdrawing their signatures. Nepal has said that 23 lawmakers who extended their signatures earlier to President Deuba have not withdrawn their signatures even as the Task Force has finalized a 10-point agreement to settle intra-party disputes in the UML.
