This song is from Rick Revel’s CD and DVD by the same title, “An American Journey.” General Grant and Sherman both referred to Nathan Bedford Forrest as “That Devil Forrest.” Revel had four ancestors who rode with General Forrest; two on his father’s side of the family and two on his mother’s side.
