A FILM by two students from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), titled “Red Wine Chicken”, was named one of the five winning documentaries by the Visual Documentary Project (VDP) 2020. The 16-minute documentary was selected from a pool of close to 120 entries from Southeast Asian countries, the varsity said in a press release. The film documenting the life, marriage and love between a Vietnamese woman and a Malaysian man was produced and directed by Angel Yuen Yi Qian and Chung Lay Woei, both Bachelor of Communication (Honours) Broadcasting final year students from the Faculty of Creative Industries.
