Each Wednesday and Sunday evening at 8 p.m. “Live At The Linda” brings you some of the best musical acts to grace the stage at The Linda - WAMC's Performing Arts Studio. This week features two shows from our “Open For Take-Out Virtual Concert Series;” Julia Alsarraf recorded live in March 2021 and Matt Nakoa recorded in April 2021.

We start the night with Huston, TX native Julia Alsarraf, an RPI grad, who decided to stick around in Troy, making the rounds here in the capital region local music scene. Julia is a singer and multi-instrumentalist whose songwriting ranges from contemporary folk to indie pop/ rock. Her music has been described as deep, soulful, and vulnerable.  Julia was joined by Elizabeth Kasius on keys and Brian Melick on percussion.  Her vocals at this show were truly powerful and mesmerizing.
