Packers fans saw snow and ice ahead of the big game Share Updated: 1:57 PM CST Feb 7, 2021 Hide Transcript Show Transcript you were gonna bet on the weather in this town, you would never, ever, ever have suggested that we were going to have six inches of snow. What do we have? We had sleet. We had rain. The ice ball cap. Yes, exactly. Are the frozen tundra you called it? Exactly? I sure did. And the Green Bay Packer fans, they're saying Open the roof, Jerry. They like to play outside. Well, that didn't happen. Um, it pretty much paralyzed the city and the weather. We're showing you a look back at the week that waas and how winter really tried to overshadow the Super Bowl. Okay, once you get it together, who's gonna want to sit in? Well, we're optimistic that the weather gets a little bit better. You're so mhm. Yeah, School got canceled today. I'm a teacher, so I got to come out here great over. Yeah, that should have made a lot of money, But with this weather, it definitely, uh, was a problem for the town. And it's a shame, because they could have did really well and it seems like a great town. Just don't get a chance to enjoy it as much. Okay, So that was the week that Waas. We want to thank our photojournalist, my teammate down here in Dallas, Bob Palmer for those pictures. And I was with him for most of that time when he was off shooting, and I'm like, Bob, watch the road.
