A professor gives a tour of an accessory dwelling unit built by Rice University students to address the need for quality and affordable housing last year in Houston.
The result of a months-long push for zoning reform in Connecticut gave both sides reason to declare victory. The reality is the anti-reformers won.
They wanted nothing of substance to change, and that’s where we are. Anything that would have started to make a dent in residential segregation in Connecticut was removed or watered down in the final bill, and the result is a maintenance of the status quo.
