SAN DIEGO — The husband of a Chula Vista woman who went missing four months ago was ordered last week to surrender at least 20 firearms and a cache of ammunition he kept in his home, and was told not to purchase any new weapons, according to court records. A Superior Court judge issued a temporary gun violence restraining order against Larry Millete last Wednesday. In the request for the order, authorities contended that Millete had unregistered and illegal assault weapons in his home, and his children had access to the guns. Investigators said in court records that a photo found on Millete’s phone showed his 4-year-old child standing on a table near 16 firearms, several high-capacity magazines and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.
