Iceland's prime minister goes on strike for gender equality

Icelandic Prime Minister Katrin Jakobsdóttir has written for the World Economic Forum on closing the gap on gender equality and pay, despite the country consistently ranking at the top of the WEF gender index. The leader announced a country-wide day of workplace absence for women, the first since 1975 in the small country.
