I was raised by my grandmother, who impacted very positively on my life. She had no formal education but she was a matron in a secondary school and we lived on the school premises. My grandmother was very passionate about seeing me excel. This was where I drew my inspiration, encouragement and support from. I grew up just like every other child in my neighbourhood.
