A DENBIGHSHIRE trailer firm is helping Welsh rugby colossus Dan Lydiate swap tackling All Blacks for rearing pedigree Welsh Black cattle. The fearless Wales and British and Irish Lions hero, 33, who now plays for the Ospreys, is preparing for life after rugby by returning to his roots as a farmer. The powerful 6ft 2ins, 17st 9Ibs Grand Slam winner is now hoping for agricultural accolades with his herd of Welsh Black cattle on the 500-acre family farm, Ty’n y Berth, just outside Llandrindod Wells, in Powys, and turned to Corwen-based Ifor Williams Trailers when he needed transport for them.
