The Radical Independence Campaign (RIC) will hold its annual conference on June 12, offering workshops on planning acts of civil disobedience to pressure the UK Government. A spokesman for RIC said acts of civil disobedience have been touted by independence supporters before but have lacked detail, and he added protests could be held in London, or “outposts” of the UK Government – such as the Scotland Office in Edinburgh or the Faslane naval base – could be blocked.
