From grand landscapes where bears outnumber humans to mountain peaks that rise nearly 6000ft above the next-highest mountain in the US, Alaska is a land of superlatives. And with more than half of the country's national park lands by area, there's plenty of wild, pristine landscapes to choose from. Here’s a rundown on Alaska’s eight national parks.
