IPL 2021 Suspended– The 14th edition of the Indian Premier League is suspended after several players, staff and groundsmen tested positive for COVID-19. Rajeev Shukla, IPL’s Chairman, confirmed the news to ANI that the season has been suspended with immediate effect following SRH’s Wriidhiman Saha and DC’s Amit Mishra testing positive for the novel Coronavirus.
The tournament (IPL 2021) has been in complete disarray and jeopardy after multiple Covid-19 cases were confirmed on Monday morning in Kolkata Knight Riders & Chennai Super Kings. It rattled BCCI officials and now just hours before SRH vs Mumbai Indians match Wriddhiman Saha has tested Covid-19 positive.
