The former IPL, a subsidiary of The AES Corporation, announced the new name and brand identity Wednesday morning. The company is also sporting a new logo that retains some of IPL's familiar colors to illustrate the company's history, officials said. In a news release, officials said AES Indiana has global access to technology and innovation to benefit customers but still reliably serves Indianapolis. "We are developing new solutions to help all of our customers, from young families to thriving tech companies and everywhere in between, achieve their most important objectives," Kristina Lund, President and CEO of AES Indiana, said in a statement. "We are seeking to create the energy services of the future that will help the Indianapolis area continue to attract new jobs and grow the economy."
