It's official -- Utica Comets sign 10-year affiliation deal

The Utica Comets have a new National Hockey League affiliate – the New Jersey Devils.

UTICA, N.Y. – The Utica Comets have a new National Hockey League affiliate – the New Jersey Devils.
The two teams signed a 10-year affiliation deal on Wednesday, which was unanimously approved by the American Hockey League Board of Governors.
In April, the Binghamton Devils were notified that the New Jersey Devils would be moving their AHL affiliate to another location. Then on Tuesday, the Vancouver Canucks announced their plans to relocate their affiliate from Utica to British Columbia next season.
