The project will end up costing the county about $13.5 million, about $1 million less than the original approximately $14.5 million estimate. Most of the work was completed by March, with contractors now going through and completing punch list items. Also approved were several requests to use county property. The Edwardsville Rotary Club will use the St. Louis Street side of the courthouse to play music for the Rotary Club Criterium Bike Race, set for noon to 11 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21.
