Date Time Jerdacuttup fatal crash Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Squad are investigating an incident that occurred in Jerdacuttup yesterday, Tuesday 19 January 2021. About 11.15am, a road work was deploying signage on the South Coast Highway (near Fence Road) when he was struck by a silver Renault van travelling west. The 40-year-old male driver of the vehicle stopped and another road worker tried to render assistance to the man, but sadly the 57-year-old man died from his injuries. Major Crash investigators are conducting an examination of the scene and speaking to the involved driver.
