Apr 11, 2021 Carolyn Labey Jersey Overseas Aid chairwoman Carolyn Labey confirmed yesterday during a Scrutiny hearing that the Covax scheme had received the sum. The International Development Minister said: ‘We have responded to that programme by giving £200,000 to Unicef and £100,000 to the British Red Cross.’ The scheme has delivered 38 million vaccine doses, from manufacturers AstraZeneca and Pfizer-BioNTech, to more than 100 jurisdictions.
