Jo Marie Phelps entered into her heavenly rest, into the arms of her savior Jesus Christ on Friday, December 11, 2020 at the age of 92 years.
Jo Marie was born June 24, 1928, at the farm home of her Grandparents Clifton near Bennington, Oklahoma. Jo Marie married J.B. Phelps on August 2, 1947, in Sherman, Texas. She was preceded in death by husband J.B. Phelps, parents Forrest and Estelline Bridges, and brother James Bridges.
She is survived by two children, daughter Janice Stewart and husband Doug of Roswell and their four children and three grandsons. Son, Steve H. Phelps and wife Gloria of Roswell and their three children seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Sister Pat Williams and husband Herb of Houston, Tx, sister-in-law Joyce Bridges of Waxahachie, TX. Numerous nieces and nephews.
