Posted by Jake McElveen The Clarendon County Junior Chamber is known for hosting several fundraisers throughout the year in Clarendon. Through these fundraisers, the Junior Chamber raises money, all of which is funneled directly back into the community. One of the ways they are giving back to the community this year is through a donation to the Turbeville Children’s Home. The Turbeville Children’s Home, purchased by the PHCI and opened in 2016, is DSS funded. However, they are largely dependent on external donations to fund the many extracurricular activites that their children partake in. These activities include youth retreats at the beach, bowling and movie nights, carowinds trips, and Christmas celebrations.
